Cover and concealment

Cover is the ability of terrain to stop small arms fire, and thus to protect infantry units in or behind it. Such units are said to be in cover. Concealment is the ability of terrain to hide infantry, making it more difficult for enemy units to spot it. All cover provides concealment, but many kinds of terrain which offer concealment provide no or very little cover.
