MT-LB was introduced to the world in the 60's by the Soviets. It is fully amphibious auxiliary vehicle capable of transporting troops and mounting different configurations. Some of these include an autocannon or a mortar carrier. It is very lightly armored. The vehicle can be found in Combat Mission: Black Sea and Combat Mission: Cold War.

  • MT-LB: The MT-LB is often used as a tow vehicle for anti-tank guns and artillery. When needed, the MT-LB can also serve as an APC.
  • MT-LBu 1V14: Using the larger specialized chassis of the MT-LBu, the 1V14 is a battery command and forward observer variant equipped with extra communication and observation equipment.
  • 9P149 Shturm-S: The 9P149, or "Shturm-S", is a tank destroyer variant of the MT-LB assigned to anti-tank battalions and batteries. The vehicle is equipped with a 9K114 Shturm (known to NATO as the AT-6 Spiral) ATGM launcher.
  • 9K35 Strela-10: The 9K35 Strela-10 (SA-13 Gopher) is a Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) variant of the MT-LB that began service in 1976. The Strela is armed with 9M37 SAMs.
